Christianity from an Existential Perspective..
|
 |
Full name: Timothy Jon-Raymond Neal
Age: 20
Education: Currently at University. In my 4th year
doing a double degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Economics.
Interests: My beautiful girlfriend Andrea, reading of
all kind, writing both fiction and non-fiction,
kung fu, usual entertainment (movies, tv, computer games).
Briefest of autobiographies:
I was raised in a very conservative independent baptist
church environment. Around the age of 16/17 I began to break away from
this kind of Christianity both theologically and liturgically. After
years of struggling with my faith, beliefs, and my theology, I am now
strictly non-demoninational. I believe that separating ourselves due to
matters of doctrine/belief is petty, and have become critical of all
religion in institutionalised forms. Nevertheless, my interest and
devotion in Jesus has increased ten-fold, and I feel more confident in
the forgiveness of God than ever in the past.
Political beliefs (if that matters to you):
In some ways I am socialist, in some ways libertarian, in fewer ways
capitalist. I believe in the strictest interpretation of nonviolence in
any political movement, and if I were to live in America I would
probably vote for the Democrats.
